Sports Bars: Buckhead's long-standing Irish pub is a choice option for those who prefer being part of a rowdy crowd come game day. View the website before heading in to keep tabs on the featured game of the eve--they're big on showing European games live, so soccer fans, head on in! Make sure to bring along a designated driver or book Uber before heading out (same goes for all of these bars). Regularly occurring drink specials, happy hours, late-night menus and a heady beer selection make it easy to get tipsy quick. Stay for dinner (get something Irish like the shepherd's pie, all-day Irish breakfast or fish and chips) and make a night out of it.
Pubs: This Buckhead hotspot offers authentic Irish pub atmosphere with food, drink, and entertainment to match. Inside, you'll find quintessential dark-wood bar areas and plenty of "pub" ambiance, though the place does tend to get packed quickly after the sun goes down. A stone patio towards the rear is a favorite hangout, no matter the season, and a few bar areas make getting a long, dark quaff a little easier. Fadó features live music on Monday nights -- dancing is always encouraged -- as well as special events to celebrate soccer (football!) matches. To mark your visit to this Buckhead favorite, be sure to stop by the gift shop and pick up a few things Irish.
Bars: This Irish Pub is at the epicenter of Buckhead's trendy district. Much of the furnishings in this three-story bar were crafted in Ireland and shipped over. Small groups quickly take up space in the nooks located throughout the bar. There are many beers on draught as well as by the bottle. The food is typical bar food with some Irish favorites like bangers and mash as well as boxtys thrown in. On warm nights head to the roof top where space in high demand. Expect to find lots of twenty-somethings here. On weekend nights the bar turns a bit clubby as DJ spins the latest hits.
