As a single woman who needed to raise her children, she began serving up her cajun-influenced food and it became so popular it has evolved to the 100+ locations of Ruth's Chris we all know today. Rather than a signature steak, they have a signature sound - the sizzle.They only serve USDA Prime steaks, which are only 2% of the steaks produced in the country. These steaks are cooked at 1800 degrees to lock in the flavor Many are located within hotels, offering guests a fabulous meal without ever having to leave their hotel.
