Mexican: This is a small chain restaurant with four locations, mostly located in the northeast part of the metro Atlanta area. Although this is a no frills spot, the food is on point. Diners are able to get in and out quickly, so it is a terrific spot to visit during a weekday lunch. The tamales and shrimp chowder are incredible. Regulars quite enjoy the brisket whether in tamales or tacos. It is a mistake to leave here without trying the pork. Get the pastor (pork) taco with pineapple mixed in. Skip sangria for beer, of which they have a surprisingly good selection (including Blue Moon, 420, and Yuengling).
