The team behind this carefully planned space – two award-winning bartenders and three industrious businessmen in the hospitality sector – strongly believe that an all-day bar should be warm and welcoming and feel familiar.
The Clumsies uses various types of inspiration; here, they know that a successful recipe stimulates the mind first of all. In this bar, you'll find an unusual list that challenges the senses and turns the choice of the ideal cocktail into an adventure.

The Clumsies is situated in an impressive building on Praxitelous Street, in the space where the famous traditional restaurant Doris was until recently. The building has been renovated in excellent taste, with a contemporary yet classic style.
The spaces are on various levels and include an internal courtyard. Wood and stone are the main materials used, and the arches behind the bar repeat those on the facade.
You can start your day here, but you'll notice that the ambience changes as the day progresses and the evening entertainment starts.
The Room is a special part of this space: it features a fireplace, a bookcase and a billiard table. It can accommodate up to 10 people. Service is personalized and customers can choose from a list of extraordinary cocktails. Reservations for The Room are made through the bar's website or by phone.
In 2012, Vasilis Kyritsis and Nikos Bakoulis found themselves behind the same bar. They both shared the same sarcastic approach and the conviction that a bartender is not judged only by the flawless execution of a recipe, but also by his communication with customers.
After experimenting together for a few years, they met three industrious professionals from the hospitality sector: Lefteris Georgopoulos, Thanos Tsounakas and Giorgos Kesaris. The rest is history.
Kyritsis started working as a bartender in 2006, and his first recipe was a combination of rum, strawberries, chocolate and lychees. He cares about customers and his experience has shown him that after a difficult day, a fruity cocktail works miracles.
Bakoulis started working in the hospitality sector at a young age, and he learned a lot about wine and food. In 2011, he was awarded the first place in the World Class competition in Greece. He has worked at the famous Schumann's bar in Munich and travels a lot.
The team works together now to create unusual drinks in a congenial atmosphere. Before you taste your cocktail, you've already seen it, smelt it and discovered it by yourself.
