Located in the heart of Waikiki, Moana Surfrider Resort & Spa has one of the best locations in Honolulu. The resort, which has an elegant, nearly royal appearance from the outside, manages to blend the style of the islands with upscale class. Known as the "First Lady of Waikiki," the historical resort first opened its doors on March 11, 1901.
Over a hundred years later, the resort became Waikiki's first and only to open a beachfront spa just a few years ago. The luxurious spa features 14 treatment rooms, including two couple's massage rooms and a 1,400-square-foot fitness facility.

Resting alongside the beachfront pool is the spacious Banyan Courtyard, offering outdoor tables, chairs and umbrellas. The courtyard provides a place for guests to relax and unwind under the vast canopy of a huge banyan tree. Evening time is all about the resort's new take on happy hour, which offers live music and drinks as the sun sets on Waikiki Beach.
Three wings of guest rooms make up the resort. The Diamond Wing, the Banyan Wing and the Tower Wing offer different views. The Tower Wing is the only one where each room has a porch (or lanai, in Hawaiian). The Diamond Wing features views of busy Waikiki Beach and expansive views of Honolulu.
Unique Hawaiian artwork, traditional quilts and island-style decor combine with modern amenities in these oceanview rooms. The serene neutral color palette creates a peaceful space for relaxation. The lanais offer a full view of bustling Waikiki Beach.

The Banyan Wing, also known as the original building, offers spacious guest rooms, which have either two double beds or one queen bed and sweeping views of Waikiki and Waikiki Beach. Granite bath tubs add to the elegance of the Banyan Wing. These guestrooms have limited available balconies and will accommodate a rollaway in select guest rooms.
The Tower Wing, newly renovated, offers both oceanview rooms and sweeping views of Honolulu. After a day of fun in the sun, relax and recharge in a guest room located in the modern Tower Wing of the Moana Surfrider. Breathe in the beauty of a brilliant sunset and sounds of the surf from your fully furnished lanai.
All wings feature a very comfortable Heavenly Bed, which is a Westin Hotels distinctive. The rooms are dressed in tranquil island tones, and the furniture is crafted from dark hardwoods and bamboo. Other amenities include a flat-screen 32 inch TV and a tea and coffee maker.
