Seclusion, romance, and relaxation are the highlights of the Volcano Village Lodge on Big Island, a bed and breakfast nestled in the middle of the rainforest. Located in Volcano Village near Volcano National Park where the climate is cool bordering chilly, and the bustling town life is far away, this getaway is a truly secluded and romantic place for couples to escape to.

Home to five different rooms on a large piece of property, each one is decorated with romance in mind. Large comfortable beds, full view of the forest around you, and bottles of wine upon arrival all welcome you to the locale. There is a kitchenette stocked with make-your-own-breakfast items such as boiled eggs, cereal and yogurt. You'll have luxuries like wireless Internet and a TV, but DVDs rather than cable. There are plenty of books to read and a hot tub is also on property, far more unique than other accommodations.

Like many vacation rentals, there is a two-night minimum for stays. In-house couples massages can be set up and the Volcano Winery is nearby for wine tastings. Volcano National Park is a short drive away where you can view volcano information, the Hale Ma`uma`u Crater, and other sites and attractions such as the Thurston Lava Tube.
