At Haleiwa Joe’s Seafood Grill on the North Shore in Haleiwa (there’s another Haleiwa Joe’s on the east side), you can find great dining along with the option of a lively bar scene. Fret not though, the bar scene is sort of out of the way so you can enjoy a peaceful ocean side dinner without interruption. The American seafood menu is composed of fresh fish dishes, big juicy half pound burgers, coconut shrimp, Cajun fish, fish tacos, steaks, salads, and appetizers like fried mushrooms (really good) and deep fried ahi sushi rolls (amazing).
They have a full bar and several good beers on tap. Indoor seating or outdoor seating with a roof is available, and the outdoor seating is the best option. It’s located right on the harbor with an awesome ocean view. Service is friendly and on point, but can be slightly on the slower side when they can slammed. The atmosphere is chart house-ish, mixed in with a serious surf theme. On the wall in the bar are portraits of local professional surfers, many who are loyal customers. Lunch runs from about $10 to $20 dollars and dinner has a range from about $15 to $35. Centrally located in Haleiwa Town on Kamehameha Highway just before the Haleiwa Bridge.
