New jam producers create unique flavors with the abudnance of the islands
When a person thinks about jams and jellies, oftentimes classics like strawberry, grape and apricot come to mind. But with Kauai's newest jam crafting company, Monkeypod Jams, a whole new world of jams has been created. Using only locally grown produce found all over the island, Monkeypod Jams crafts some amazing jam to enjoy as well as bring home as a souvenir.

Having been around since the Kilauea Sugar Plantation rented one of its buildings on the current market site to a Chinese businessman named Lunch Wah Chee (who opened an all-in-one general store), the shopping center offers a unique mix of boutiques, eateries and galleries.
