Fashion Outlets of Chicago is a new designer mall that's become an international shopping mecca. The second floor stores are the more tony ones - places like Burberry, Prada and Gucci. But the lower-level has giant Under Armor, Nike, and Forever 21 stores. It also has a good food court, with restaurants like Freshii and Haagen Daz. Because it's next to O'Hare International Airport, the guest services desk with assist with airline baggage check-in and boarding pass issuance. The mall is a 10-15 minute walk from the Rosemont Blue Line and parking up to two hours is free. Look for the little green lights above the parking spaces in the massive garage - it'll let you know there's an open space there.
- Shopping Malls and Centers: "Stuck at O'Hare on a long flight layover? Free shuttles are offered between the mall and the airport. They can also store your bags, update you on your flight's status, and issue boarding passes."
- Best for Shopping Malls and Centers Because: The large, new indoor designer outlet mall is close to O'Hare International Airport.
- Best Shopping: "Free parking in an indoor seven-level "smart" garage utilizes red or green lights above each space indicating availability for drivers to easily find a parking space."
