Established in the late '70's, this museum showcases art by Vietnam War veterans. Lacking a political agenda, the facility features works by American, Viet Cong, and North Vietnamese soldiers. The collection features more than 1000 works by more than 130 artists, including nurses, infantry soldiers, prisoners of war, navy seamen, and air crew members. Among the holdings are paintings, drawings, photographs, sculpture, poetry, prose, and artifacts.
