Locals couldn't be bothered to wait in grueling lines that da Baffetto draws. Yet the curiosity and hype revolved around this restaurant surprisingly keeps tourists coming back for more. Nonetheless, the pizza is good and the service is quirky. It's highly probable, that you'll be seated at a table with other customers not in your party. But that in itself makes it part of the eating experience and for good conversation. This pizzeria recently opened up a second location (Baffetto 2) near Campo de' Fiori at Piazza del Teatro di Pompeo 18. BUS: 40, 64, 46
Local Expert Tip
Lingering at your table after you've finished your pizza is not appreciated here. This is definitely a pack it in, pack it out sort of place.
