6 O'Brien's Oyster Bar & Restaurant
Annapolis is a city known for its historical sites, and O'Briens Oyster Bar & Restaurant is an Annapolis fixture. Built in 1774 as the Rose & Crown Tavern, the establishment was popular with revolutionaries and royalists. 5 Stan and Joe's
Two well seasoned bartenders really know the ropes when it comes to catering to their patrons. A warm and friendly atmosphere gives way to a great food and drink experience with nightly entertainment rounding out the evening. 4 Armadillo's
This unassuming longtime local favorite is the place to go for live music. Catering to variety, Armadillos offers entertainment for just about everyone. Live music is performed every night of the week except for Mondays and usually begins at 9:30. Each Wednesday, Armadillos hosts the Local Artist Showcase featuring the "who's who" of the Annapolis music scene. This hangout/restaurant is always a sure bet when looking for live music. 3 McGarvey's Saloon & Oyster Bar
If you're looking for oysters and beer, you've come to the right location. Though McGarvey's Saloon doesn't feature live music, locals and tourists alike don't seem to mind. This loud and friendly establishment is known for its extensive line of beers on tap, especially the Aviator Amber Lager, made exclusively for the saloon's owner, Mike Ashford. (410-263-5700)

2 49 West Coffeehouse, Winebar, Gallery
With its European ambiance, decadent desserts, eclectic wines and spirits, and fabulous martinis, 49 West provides the ideal venue for a night of sophisticated relaxation. This coffeehouse/wine bar features live classical, jazz or folk music every night. 49 West also houses a gallery of local artists' work which changes monthly, and artists debut during a wine and cheese reception the first Sunday of each month. 1 Ram's Head Tavern
Rams Head on Stage is the performance side of Rams Head Tavern. When you're note enjoying food, a cold one, or the scene around you in this historic English-style pub, you'll be jamming to live music from local bands. Guests have the option to enjoy fireside dining or outdoor seating under a wisteria-covered brick patio.
