10 Best LGBT-Friendly Bars and Clubs in Los Cabos

With its "anything goes" attitude, Cabo San Lucas has always been relatively tolerant and gay friendly, and Los Cabos in general is hospitable to the LGBT community, particularly in terms of vacation villas and marriage and renewal of vows ceremonies. Despite the respectable turnout for the annual Gay Pride parade, however, the area lacks the vibrant gay nightlife scene found in some of the more highly populated Mexican cities and resort areas. There are gay bars here, but not as many as you might think, and much of the local scene is centered around the larger and more diversity-friendly dance clubs like Passion, Pink Kitty and Mandala.

Chandelier's is the center of the gay club scene in Cabo San Lucas. The second story party palace opened in 2013 the heart of the tourist district (less than a block from Cabo Wabo Cantina), and now showcases its reverse banker’s hours (9 p.m. to 5 a.m.) four nights a week. Nearby Glow, located at the site of the former Angel's Gay Bar, also offers lively theme nights and high-energy dance music from house DJs.

ME Cabo Hotel on Médano Beach has always been gay friendly, and draws diverse crowds for the daily pool parties and occasional theme nights at Passion Club and other onsite lounges. Pink Kitty and Mandala are the top dance clubs in the downtown area, with rotating casts of international DJs, and plenty of high-end bottle service.
