Plaza Caracol has been open for 28 years and is located directly across the street from Riu Cancun at km 8.5 in the Hotel Zone. It is in need of a facelift and is very quiet, but there are some lovely souvenir shops, a Senor Frogs shop, fine jewelry stores, a perfumery and other stores. Did you leave your kids at home with Grandma and Grandpa? Pick them up colorful handmade wooden puzzles at Caribbean Puzzle. Starbucks, Haagen Dazs, and a gourmet deli are all located inside the main entrance. There is also a HSBC bank branch in the mall.
