Casual and comfortable describe the warm daytime atmosphere of Room 39. It's a place where the chefs strive to choose great tasting food produced by local farmers who are committed to sustainable growing and harvesting practices. The carefully curated menu features luxurious house-made goat cheese gnocchi with house cured prosciutto, grilled chicken salad featuring mixed greens, local apples, blue cheese and toasted hazelnuts or the veggie burger – a fresh-tasting combo of bulgur wheat, black beans and vegetables served with red pepper aioli. And watch for menu 'additions' that may include succulent trout salad, a lightly sweet sliced and roasted duck breast sandwich, or asparagus tempura with olive aioli. Mimosas and Bloody Marys lend a festive air to lunch while homemade carrot cake or almond cake accompanied by plump fresh berries and a mound of real whipped cream complete a highly satisfying meal.

- Lunch: "Check out breakfast too, served 7 a.m.-3 p.m., Monday through Saturday. You'll enjoy unusual offerings such as the Smoked Salmon Scramble and Kevin's Artichoke Toast – two poached eggs served atop ciabatta with artichoke spread and arugula, alongside homemade biscuits and gravy or enormous Belgian waffles."
- Best for Lunch Because: Room 39 founders, Ted Habiger and Andrew Sloan formed Seasons Catering in 2003, and opened the restaurant the following year.
