Long appreciated by locals, the Sand Dollar is the place to be for great blues and rock — and to catch the occasional star. The decor is simple, the music stunning, and the clientele friendly and down-to-earth. According to regulars, the lounge frequently beats out mega-venues like The Joint and House of Blues as the best place to hear live music. Lack of pretension, low cover charges, and a 24-hour, never-close policy keep the atmosphere relaxed and low key. Live music happens 10pm until 3am and sometimes later. Two bands on Friday and Saturday starting at 7:30 and 10pm.

I am not much of a review person but this place deserves it. First- it's a blues bar and its off strip and hard to find. This makes it cool on it's own but the thing is- they have real music at the place. It's pretty fun to be able to throw back a few with the musicians. For Vegas- this is totally unique and gets a high rating.
