What originally started out as a coffee shop has now become one of the largest and most luxurious resorts in the Reno area.
Peppermill Resort started in 1971 and went through various changes throughout the past several decades. Peppermill has since won numerous accolades from folks like Spafinder.com, Casino Player and Nevada Magazine.
Today, the Mediterranean-inspired resort features gaming; luxurious rooms; excellent food and cocktails; and even an award-winning spa.

Located just south of the burgeoning Midtown area of Reno, Peppermill Resort includes several towers that offer rooms with views of the city and the Sierra Nevada.
Guests also have access to the resort’s two pools, a shopping center, fitness center, gaming facilities, 11 restaurants and 14 bars.

Restaurants include Romanza, with its classic Italian menu (and rotating statues), and CHI, which serves elegant Asian dishes and seafood from their live tanks. Other fine dining includes the private White Orchid – perfect for special events and weddings.
The popular Island Buffet has a huge variety to choose from, including fresh and specialty salads; prime rib and seafood; Mexican cuisine; and a plethora of desserts.
The casino at Peppermill features the newest, hottest slots and video poker; a high limit table games area; and Reno's biggest and most luxurious high limit slot area, as well as its most luxurious poker room.
The casino also has a race and sports book and holds regular tournaments and special events.
Many nights, live music is available on various casino stages.

Peppermill’s lounges and bars have become a favorite even among locals.
The beautiful Terrace has a view of the pool and the gardens. It features a glorious glass chandelier made of orange, glass flowers.
Other lounges and bars include the neon Oceano Oyster Bar, the cozy Pub and the Banyan Bar, with access to 24-hour video screens.

Peppermill's Spa Toscana has over 33,000 square feet and three stories of the celebration of water and health.
With a distinctly Mediterranean feel, the spa features plasma TVs with SoSound acoustic resonance therapy in each room; spa cuisine; natural hair and skin products; and a hair and nail salon.
Treatments include the Tuscan Ritual (a body brush followed by Swedish massage); the Wine Down massage with Chardonnay grapeseed oil; and the Moroccan Hydrating Polish.
There;s really no need to leave Peppermill Resort once you're there. But if you want to, then downtown Reno is just a few blocks north.
Along the way, you can visit the restaurants, bars and shops of Midtown Reno before returning to your Mediterranean bliss.
