Tucked away in the woods near South Lake Tahoe, the Spruce Grove Cabins not only offer full amenities, but a quiet place to vacation and ski in one of the most popular areas of Tahoe. Each of the Spruce Grove Cabins, near the Heavenly Ski Resort, have their own names and cozy, themed decor.

You have your choice of the Bears Den cabin, which can sleep up to six people and costs only $215 per night. The Bears Den has a beautiful rock fireplace, a large kitchen and a bay window with a courtyard view.
The Pioneer also sleeps six for $215 a night. It has decor reminiscent of the early west.
The Washoe Hut also sleeps six for $215 a night. This cabin is full of Native American decor from the local Washoe tribe. It also has a private patio and a barbecue.

The Field and Stream cabin for $169 a night is another large cabin that sleeps up to four people. Lots of ducks, rods and tied flies adorn this cabin for the outdoors lover.
The Snowshoe cabin is also $169 a night and has a loft-style bedroom and is decorated with rawhide snowshoes.
The Steamer Tahoe is a one-bedroom cabin that reflects the decor of the steamer ships that used to sail Lake Tahoe.
All the cabins have fully equipped kitchens, living and dining areas with gas log fireplaces and at least one bathroom. The resort has an enclosed hot tub, a grassy area with outdoor log swings and picnic tables.
The resort is also pet-friendly, and well-behaved dogs are more than welcome to stay with you during your Lake Tahoe getaway.
