In Pittsburgh, you'll find large enclosed shopping malls and pedestrian-friendly areas lined with stores and weekly markets. One of the area's best malls, Ross Park Mall, offers 150 different retailers, while South Hills Village and the downtown Strip District, from 16th to 22nd Street, features a fun variety of restaurants and specialty shops. Walnut Street in the Shadyside neighborhood is home to a combination of high-end chains and locally owned shops. If you're willing to venture outside the city, South Hills Village in Bethel Park also has a pleasing selection.
