Lisbon Airport Hotels: Where to Stop Over in the Portuguese Capital.

Airport hotels in Lisbon include the appropriately named Tryp Lisboa Aeroporto. Overlooking Terminal 1, this is the nearest hotel property to the city’s Portela international airport, and the most conveniently situated for passengers. Lisbon airport is sited close to Parque das Nações, a modern business, leisure and entertainment hub located east of the city centre. The cluster of excellent hotels here includes the upmarket Tivoli Oriente, which lends its name to the neighbouring rail and metro station. A good budget choice is the nearby 3-star Ibis Lisboa Parque das Nações, but if you want to splash out a bit during your stopover head for the Myriad by SANA Hotels. Set overlooking the river, this towering 5-star luxury accommodation is one of the capital’s finest hotel properties. Guests staying in rooms on the upper levels of the Hotel Olissippo Oriente Lisbon are afforded wonderful views of the vicinity. So too are those who opt for the nearby Hotel Tryp Oriente Lisbon. Parque das Nações also embraces the smart VIP Executive Arts Hotel, a favourite with business travellers and another excellent layover option. Away from the area but still within easy access of the airport is respected Radisson Blu Hotel, sited near the motorway that arrows past terminals 1 and 2. If you prefer to stay nearer to Lisbon city centre but still require rapid transfer options to meet your flight, consider the Lisbon Marriott Hotel or, just down the road, the SANA Metropolitan Hotel, both of which offer modern and comfortable accommodation.
