The revolutionary Gaudi Experience in Barcelona is not only ideal for families with kids, but also for anyone interested in learning about famous architect Antoni Gaudi in a fun, relaxing and very comprehensive way: this is the first time that all of Gaudi's works and the information about his life have been compiled into one place.
Your visit starts with an exciting 3D ride, where you're literally pulled into the life of this mastermind, as you go through the chronology of his works and where he found inspiration for his designs. The ride is wonderful for children as well as adults. It is extremely well done. Interacting learning at Gaudi Experience — Photo courtesy of Gaudi Experience
After the "roller coaster" (The chairs don't actually move.), play with the large tablet-esque touch screen in the main room, where with only a swish of the finger, you'll be transported into his past and even his future, if he were still alive today.
The Gaudi Experience is a truly wonderful new attraction, right near Park Guell. It also acts as a souvenir store, featuring unique merchandise other than the typical Gaudi paraphernalia that is sold in most places around the city. Definitely stop by either before or after you visit the Park. Entrance costs around seven euros and is very well worth it.
