It's not strange to find customers in the kitchen taking pictures with the chefs after the meal or to experience the waiters going out of their way to accommodate all dietary needs, even offering their very honest opinions if they feel you've chosen the wrong dish.
Located just around the corner from Gaudi's incredible Sagrada Familia, La Taqueria feels like you've been whisked away for the evening to Mexico. The menu consists of various tortillas, beef, tacos, delicious guacamole and an even better cactus salad. They also feature an incredible variety of Tequila. Be aware, "winos": there's no wine or cava on the menu, so if you're not a beer or tequila drinker, water or soft drinks are your best bet.

The restaurant is tiny, with about seven tables, most of them seating two to four people. They do accept larger groups, but definitely use their new online booking system to reserve in advance, as it gets very busy and you'll often have to wait an hour or more, especially on the weekends.
After you're finished, make sure to stop at the Sagrada Familia to see it light up at night; it's quite something.
