One of Ferran Adria's newest additions to Barcelona's restaurant scene, Tickets, has established itself as the place to be for foodies, as well as for those looking to try innovative tapas in a trendy yet unassuming atmosphere.
Priding itself on serving gastro-tapas, Tickets has recently added a special surprise menu to the dinner lineup by asking the customers to put their trust in their waiters' hands. Instead of sifting through the extensive list of mouthwatering options, all you have to do is let your waiter know of any food allergies and preferences, and they'll create a 10-15 course tapas meal for the table. They'll also recommend wine pairings without giving too much away as to what's about to come.

Since it opened almost two years ago, Tickets has fast become one of the city’s most sought after locales. Reservations are hard to come by and usually only possible by booking online at midnight, for up to three months in advance (the other way is to know someone who works there).
Although the inside bears a strong resemblance to a circus set with the loud colours, flashy lights, wooden tables, bar stools and busy walls full of posters and photos, the food is a true representation of the Adria brothers at their finest. Delicious flavurs, creative designs and top-notch service earn Tickets all the fuss. It's also right next door to the more 'prestigious' 41 Degrees, where you can go for a cocktail once you're finished enjoying the dinner surprise.
