Whether you’re in the Gotico, Born, Poble Sec, Ribera, Barceloneta or Raval neighborhoods, it’s easy to find a place with a menu featuring international cuisine. Poble Sec in particular, although perhaps not as well known as some of the others in Ciutat Vella (Old City) has an excellent assortment of new and exciting places to dine including Ferran Adria's two new gems; Tickets & 41 Degrees.

Many restaurants, although they might have their particular specialties like Italian, Asian or Spanish, are usually mixed with a unique innovative fusion. El Salon for example, is a Catalan menu with French influences, whereas Mosquito is an Asian inspired menu with a strong tapas flare.

The vibrant and consistently busy international scene found within the city provides for the natural blending of cultures when it comes to the culinary stage. It’s hard to find a Barcelona restaurant that hasn’t inserted an element of foreign flavours, spices and recipes into its menu.
