Austin has been appropriately coined the “Live Music Capitol of the World.” On any given night, you can catch anything from blues to indie to country to post punk to jazz; virtually every Austin bar hosts live music at least occasionally. You can stroll down Sixth Street and just pick something that sounds interesting, but some of the best Austin venues are Antone's, Broken Spoke, Cactus Cafe, Stubb's, and the Continental Club.
