The Pearl Brewery is one of the most eclectic and enjoyable places to shop in San Antonio, with new shops, restaurants and other commercial spaces popping up all the time. One of the newest additions to the Pearl is an adorable boutique called Leighelena. They are known for their custom-made jewelry for women and also carry a well-curated selection of fun items you won’t find anywhere else, such as vintage cowboy boots, belt buckles, dresses, kid’s toys and games, housewares and hot tech accessories.
Dos Carolinas is another new addition to the Pearl, although they have been a San Antonio staple since 1987. This wonderful little store designs and creates guayaberas in natural fabrics. Guayaberas are traditional men's shirts popular in Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, Southeast Asia and also Zimbabwe. Dos Carolinas offers shirts as well as dresses made from cotton, linen, silk and wool. The shop also makes clothing for everyday wear and for special occasions ranging from weddings to bar mitzvahs and christenings.
In addition to these wonderful little shops, the Pearl is also home to The Twig Book Shop, Aveda, Bike World, Leelee Shoes and Adelante Boutique whose focus is on colorful, natural fabric apparel and handmade items for women. Melissa Guerra Tienda de Cocina is another fabulous shop that features authentic Mexican kitchenware, such as a stone molcajete.
