What's the best way to spend your time in San Antonio if you're a teenager? Well, we know just the thing . . . especially if you're visiting during one of the City's hot, sweltering summers or anytime when the weather just isn't cooperating!
Hopefully, you have a car or easy access to transportation, because it's hard to get around San Antonio without that.

You'll start your amazing day of adventure in SA at one of the coolest attractions around. They call it The Cave Without a Name, which doesn't make much sense because this natural wonder surely deserves one. The temperature is 66 degrees year-round in this phenomenal, underground oasis filled with amazing stalactites and stalagmites.
The Cave Without a Name is a natural, living cavern with over two miles of interconnecting cave systems open to the environment for thousands upon thousands of years, as evidenced by some of the prehistoric finds inside. You can take a tour of the six main rooms and the easy-to-navigate walkways. If you're into history, you'll be interested to learn that this cave was used as a moonshine distillery around 1920. It was abandoned and later rediscovered by three boys in 1935.
After exploring the wonderful world underground, you're probably ready for a little nosh. Head over to shopping destination The Rim, located not too far from the Cave. There are a number of great places to grab a bite to eat from fastfood joints to some more sophisticated options, such as restaurant Maggiano's for some delicious Italian fare or Mimi's Café, if you're more in the mood for some good, old-fashioned home cookin'.

Next, head over to the Palladium, which is located right there at The Rim. The Palladium is one of San Antonio's newest theatres and offers all the latest in technology, including a spectacular IMAX theatre. What better way to beat the heat than a good movie?
If you still have some energy, take advantage of all the great shops located at The Rim, such as Bass Pro Shop, which is an adventure unto itself. If you're up for even more exploration, then head over to The Shops at La Cantera, San Antonio's newest shopping center. It is located across the freeway from The Rim. This collection of upscale shops includes some teen favorites, such as the Apple Store and Nordstrom.
Whether you decide to do one or all of the items on this fantastic one day itinerary for San Antonio, make sure to take pics to post on your Instagram or Twitter. There's no doubt your friends back home will be wilting with envy!
