In terms of culture, Salt Lake City has quite a few gems hidden throughout its expanses. From its multicultural dining to its top-notch ballet, this city’s offerings well outdo its common reputation. One prime example, Bastille, is a fashionable men’s and women’s clothing boutique operating three shops only–one in San Francisco, one in Murray and another in Salt Lake City’s Gateway Mall. Carrying the best in contemporary designer labels, Bastille just received the nod from Elle.com as being Utah’s single best boutique shopping destination in their summer 2012 “50 States of Shopping.”
Selected as Utah’s top shop, Bastille stands shoulder to shoulder with Los Angeles, CA’s Madison; Boston, MA's Newbury Street plum, Serenella; and NYC’s Barney’s New York. Seeing “fashion as an ever changing art,” Bastille carries the best in contemporary clothing, offering an inventory “not skewed by price, geography, politics or marketing.” As such, this boutique carries men’s and women’s clothing created by the likes of Band of Outsiders, James Perse, DVF, 10 Crosby, Thvm Atelier, G-Star Raw, Theory and Zuriick.
Here you’ll find tops, bottoms, accessories, footwear and outerwear. However, one thing you won’t find is bargain clothing. After all, clothing with designer labels costs a pretty penny.
