The folks at The Triple Door
claim their philosophy is simple: "Provide the best in sound, lighting, atmosphere and hospitality, and you maximize the opportunity to make something real and alive happen between artist and audience." According to loyal customers, they are clearly doing something right.
Located in Seattle
's historic Mann Building, this intimate and sophisticated award-winning music and dinner theater occupies the renovated space that formerly housed the Embassy Theater, originally a 1920s vaudeville house. The Mainstage downstairs is an intimate candlelit spot with state-of-the-art sound and booths that offer clear sight lines to the stage (which often twinkles with strings of white lights)
Although featured music genres vary, there is often an emphasis on folk, acoustic and rock tunes. Wild Ginger restaurant (located next door) provides a commendable Asian-fusion menu highlighting the flavors of Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia, and the same cuisine is available upstairs in the hoppin' Musicquarium Lounge–where live music, DJ sets, and great happy hour deals draw loyal patrons.
