Luxury Seattle property snags a spot on US News & World Report Best Hotel List
Considered by many the best luxury hotel in the city, the Four Seasons Hotel Seattle now has some additional national recognition to further back that claim. Of the thousands of hotels considered, the Seattle location of the venerable Four Seasons brand earned the fourth spot in the coveted top 10 list on U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hotels in the USA rankings for 2012.
Located in the heart of the Emerald City near landmark attractions such as Pike Place Market and the Seattle Art Museum,Four Seasons Seattle got the nod from U.S. News for its combination of location and “… 10 floors of decadent luxury.” The magazine went on to note that, “Accommodations are plush and comfortable, featuring down duvets, iPod docking stations, and marble bathrooms. When it comes to relaxing, guests will find that the spa offers everything from a hot lava massage to an anti-aging Brazilian body scrub.” Also taken into consideration was the sustainability efforts of the hotel’s ART Restaurant, which serves in-season, local and regional cuisine and pours Washington wines. The magazine spoke to Four Seasons Hotel Seattle general manager Ilse Harley, who noted that it's not just one thing that differentiates this hotel from other properties, but rather the sum of its parts. She cites the hotel's personalized service, its location, its amenities, and its awe-inspiring views of Elliott Bay and the Olympic Mountains.
