Keep your eyes peeled, or you may just drive past this little Cuban eatery, which offers a terrific change of pace from standard burger-and-fries meals at fast food joints. Indeed, Paseo does a healthy amount of take-out business, and regulars swear by the kitchen's grilled pork sandwiches, dinner-sized orders of spicy black beans and rice and jerk chicken. Seasonal seafood dishes are also available. The Fremont location offers a limited number of indoor tables, and the Ballard venue has some outdoor seating that fills up quickly. Lunchtime lines can grow to an enormous size; try to beat the crowds, and arrive early!
