We all want to take our kids on fun getaways and explore new destinations as a family, but why not make where you stay a part of the adventure too. From under-the-sea themed suites to brightly-colored bunk bed rooms all set up for family game nights, kids will love staying in hotels and lodges that stop them in their tracks. Take a look at this collection of over-the-top hotel suites that are guaranteed to impress the little ones in your family.

The Plaza, Eloise Suite

It only makes sense that The Plaza in New York would have an Eloise Suite. And, you need to contact the hotel’s “Eloise Ambassador” in order to book this bright-pink room with a king-size bed, a sparkly pink headboard and white zebra-print carpet. A stay in the Eloise Suite also comes with afternoon tea for two and a gift card to spend in the Eloise Shop inside the hotel.

Omni San Antonio Hotel at the Colonnade, Aquatica Suite

Inspired by Aquatica, SeaWorld’s waterpark, the Aquatica Suite at the Omni San Antonio Hotel at the Colonnade in San Antonio is an ocean paradise complete with a built-in aquarium, a pair of “stingray” bean bag chairs and a cubby filled with sea-themed books and stuffed animals. A brightly-colored coral entertainment wall features two TVs–one for movies, the other for video games. For parents, an adjoining room with a porthole allows for check-ins on children at play.

Spice Girls Suite — Photo courtesy of The Curtis

The Curtis, Spice Girls Suite

A stay at The Curtis in Denver is a true pop culture experience with several one-bedroom suites dedicated to rock bands that made their mark on music history, including best-selling girl band, the Spice Girls. The Spice Girls Suite features a photo wall dedicated to the Spice Girls as well as a bright pink sectional couch, perfect for any mini rock star “wannabe.”

Wolf Den Suite — Photo courtesy of Great Wolf Lodge

Great Wolf Lodge, Wolf Den Suite

Escape to any one of Great Wolf Lodge’s 12 locations for water slides, nightly story times, sparkly manicures at the kid spa and a stay in one of their Wolf Den Suites, which sleep up to six people. Little ones will love bunk beds set inside a playful forest-themed wolf den, as well as a second TV inside the den. It’s the ideal space to hibernate after a full day of fun.

LEGOLAND Hotel, LEGO Friends Room

At the new LEGOLAND Hotel outside Orlando, the LEGO Friends Room is a must for every LEGO-loving little kid. Kids will love sleeping on bunk beds in a room with brightly-painted walls that feature each of the five LEGO Friends characters. As a bonus, a stay at the LEGOLAND Hotel allows for early access to the park, including Heartlake City, the new LEGO Friends-themed land.

Adventure Suites, Treehouse Suite

A stay at Adventure Suites in North Conway, New Hampshire, is an adventure all on its own. Every room is an over-the-top suite, but kids will really love the Treehouse Suite, which includes a “front yard” with Mr. Tree Trunk, a carousel horse for children to ride and a tree trunk to crawl inside and explore. Cookies are baked nightly and fresh popcorn is available to guests all day.

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Cars Family Suite

At Disney’s Art of Animation Resort in Florida, kids will love a stay in one of multiple Cars-themed family suites. Look for decoratives touting Radiator Springs businesses, like the Cozy Cone Motel, as well as a coffee table embossed with a Route 66 map and orange cone lamps on the beside tables. Outside the suite, pose for selfies with life-size characters from the movie, like Mater and Lightning McQueen.

Holiday Inn Resort Pensacola Beach, KidSuites

Wow the kids on your next beach vacation with a stay in one of three KidSuites at the Holiday Inn Resort Pensacola Beach in Florida. Inside the suite, kids will love the bunk beds, brightly-colored decorations and a video game station. Look for a lazy river swimming pool, dive-in movies and seasonal mermaid shows, as well as easy access to one of the top family beaches in the country.

Jurassic Park Suite — Photo courtesy of Loews Royal Pacific Resort

Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Jurassic Park Suite

Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando boasts eight Jurassic Park-themed family suites complete with custom murals, artwork from the movies and dinosaurs aplenty. One step into this suite and you’ll feel as though you’ve been transported back to a time when dinosaurs roamed the earth. Kids will love their own set of twin beds, while mom and dad relax in the adjoining room with a king-size bed.

Hotel Rouge, Bunk Bed Room

Just four blocks from the White House in Washington, D.C., it’s a must to book a stay in one of six signature Bunk Bed Rooms at Kimpton’s Hotel Rouge. Each Bunk Bed Room includes a king-size bed for mom and dad, as well as a built-in nook with bunks for little ones. Even better, each room has video games, board games and a kid-friendly minibar that’s loaded with fun snacks.
