2. Feeding the pigeons in St. Mark's Square
Despite not being the most sanitary thing you can do in Venice, frolicking with the pigeons that practically take over St. Mark's Square in Venice is a must for a fun aspect to your romantic day in Venice, as the silly photo ops you'll be able to get with the pigeons will have you and your partner laughing together.
3. Gondola ride

4. Get lost
The streets of Venice are like a meandering maze. Once you retreat into the narrow back streets of Venice, the two of you can take turns choosing which way to go next with every intersection and delight in where you end up - it could be a small, ornate bridge over a canal or a little cafe with sumptuous cappuccino.
5. Harry's Bar
Harry's Bar oozes Italian sophistication and is a great place to get a drink (try the Bellini) with your partner. Many well-known people have visited the bar over the years including Ernest Hemingway, Charlie Chaplin and Truman Capote.
6. Dine with a canal view
Find a restaurant overlooking one of Italy's less busy canals and ask for a table next to the water for a special dinner the two of you can enjoy together.
7. Shop in Murano
Hold hands and wander down the streets of Murano, a short water taxi ride away from Venice, where you can witness the art of glass blowing. Marvel over the glass creations together and pick out a souvenir to remember your time in Venice together.
8. Sunset cruise
Watching the sunset while on one of Venice’s large canals is a romantic way to watch the day end and night begin together.
9. Have Dinner at Cantina Do Spade
This historic restaurant is rumored to be where Casanova took women to wine and dine them and get them to fall in love with him. Turn up the flirting with your partner while eating Cantina Do Spade’s savory chicchettis (Italian small dishes).
10. Watch opera
One of Europe’s most famous opera houses is in Venice – Theatre La Fenice. Get tickets to a show for a high-class and sophisticated night out on the town with your honey.
