  • Rosenthaler Straße's Art Alleyway

    Berlin's vibrant street art culture attracts artists from around the world, who come to join the city's graffiti movement.  The city's avant garde attitude about wall art - local authorities are tolerant - land's the city's cutting edge images on many a tour or itinerary.  On Rosenthaler Straße's art alleyway, you can see everything from spray paint art to stencils to graffiti, and not one inch of wall space is left uncovered!

  • Work by Jimmy C

    Jimmy C is a famous street artist best known for his drip painting technique in which blobs of spray paint drip down to form vibrant pictures. Many of his works are found on the streets of Berlin.

    El Bocho is Berlin's most famous street artist. His work has been gracing walls and buildings since 1997 and he is now one of the world's most renowned street art personas.

  • Colorful Kreuzberg

    One of the most colourful areas of Berlin, exotic Kreuzberg is home to thousands of Turkish immigrants. This home was built from recycled waste by a Turkish man who found a plot of land belonging to East Germany on the west side of the wall. Authorities wanted to build a road here after unification, but the house fell under jurisdiction of a nearby church which liked the family's ethics and worked to spare the house, along with the graffiti art on the wall in front of it.
