Barbuda is an island in the East Caribbean that, even by Caribbean standards, is ideal for travel and tourism. One of Barbuda's beaches–a three mile stretch of powdery white sand and unparalleled tranquility–was a favorite of the late Princess Diana. She was known to frequent it with her sons, and because of her love for the place, it was recently renamed in her honor.

Princess Di Beach, and all the rest of Barbuda, for that matter, are ideal spots for a Caribbean day trip, even if you aren't staying on the island. If, for example, you're staying on the nearby island of Nevis, properties like the Four Seasons Nevis boast a knowledgeable staff that will be more than happy to make day trip arrangements.
