This fall event presents the largest collection of American beers ever served in one place at one time. There are public tastings and private competitions, and every ticket includes an opportunity to have a one-ounce sample of more than 2,800 beers.

  • Scenic Drives and Great Food in Asheville, North Carolina

    Visit Asheville, North Carolina to experience the wonders of the Blue Ridge Parkway and more. If you're a "leaf peeper" drive this scenic parkway in the fall for one of the prime spots to watch leaves change. Asheville is also well known for its tasty breakfast and dinner spots. If you're a foodie, make sure to stop in at one of Asheville's many chef-owned restaurants for a bite.

    If you're going to hit one Oktoberfest in the world this fall, visit Munich's sixteen-day celebration. This festival is the original Oktoberfest and the Oktoberfest to which all other Oktoberfests aspire. Nearly seven million beer enthusiasts participate every year. Along with Munich-brewed beer, fair-goers enjoy a wide variety of delicious German delicacies.
