The Lower Omo Valley in southern Ethiopia is home to some of the last remaining traditional tribes in the world, still living according to their ancient rituals, customs, and traditions, and clinging to a way of life that has all but disappeared elsewhere.

Infrastructure and change has come to the Omo, allowing easier access for tourism, and while this affords a fascinating peek into this exotic world, it also lets us know that this way of life may not live forever.
