Eating at the airport doesn't mean you're stuck with bland, overpriced food. At least not at these 10 airports, nominated by Airport Revenue News and voted by 10Best readers as having the best food concessions programs in North America.

  • Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport (MSP)

    With more than 100 restaurants and shops to choose from, there's something for just about every traveler at Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport. Highlights include Axel's Bonfire, Black Sheep Coal Fired Pizza, French Meadow Bakery and LoLo American Kitchen.

  • Philadelphia International Airport (PHL)

    Some 180 concessions spread throughout Philadelphia International's seven terminals mean no traveler will go hungry. Options are varied – Chinese at Asian Chao, coastal Mediterranean at Baba Bar, seafood at Chickie's and Pete's, pub food at Jack Duggan's and sweet treats at SGR.

  • Portland International Airport (PDX)

    At PDX, local flavors begin with the Flying Elephants Deli which sells freshly prepared sandwiches and salads followed by popular local chain Stanford's. Beaches is also a very cool restaurant that is adorned with beach décor and a casual American menu. Also notable are the sushi from Hissho Sushi, hamburgers from Burgerville and local brewer Rogue Ales. PDX has a rotating food truck program to give travelers a taste of the city's food scene.

    Hungry travelers at Detroit's airport have plenty of options to choose from, including national chains like P.F. Chang's, Chick-Fil-A, Chili's and Potbelly, as well as local favorites like Papa Joe's.

  • Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW)

    DFW Airport offers plentiful choices for food, all of which are post-security. The Skylink train connects all terminals and allows you to travel from one to the next if you have a favorite spot. The options  are fantastic, with everything from high-end places like Abacus to fast casual such as Banh Shop to local such as Cousin's BBQ.

  • Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI)

    From fast food to sophisticated sit-down dining, BWI has travelers covered. Highlights of the food program at this Capital airport include The Burger Joint, Gachi House of Sushi, Obrycki's and Silver Diner, all with street pricing.

    Food offerings at SFO are as diverse and reflective of the culinary landscape of San Francisco and the Bay Area as a whole. Travelers will find sushi, healthy fare, Mexican, local delicacies, nationally recognized brands and more. Truly something for everyone.

    The airport has a robust food and beverage concessions program, with some 150 and beverage locations. Now the dining selection features full-service restaurants such as P.F. Chang’s, LongHorn Steakhouse, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Phillips Seafood, TGI Fridays, Buffalo Wild Wings and Café Intermezzo. Local favorites are also serving up delicious food. Among them: SweetWater Drafthouse & Bar, The Varsity, Atlanta Bread Company, Chick-fil-A, Paschal’s, Atlanta Stillhouse, Ecco, One Flew South and Sweet Georgia’s Juke Joint.
