Housed in a 100-year-old building, Goober’s Garage features Vance Kershner's personal collection of classic cars, which allows visitors to see the innovation and progression of American autos, from early steam cars and Model Ts to Thunderbirds and modern-day sports cars. The garage sits next door to Goober's Diner, a two-story, 80-seat stainless-steel retro 1950s-style diner, which is owned by Kershner and Tom Hannum. No admission fee is charged; they just ask that visitors support the diner. Goober's Garage doesn't maintain a regular operating schedule, but your best bet is to head over during the weekend lunch rush or keep an eye on the announcements in the garage's Facebook group.
