Each offers a stellar selection of draft and bottled beers, many with a focus on regional or Belgian selections.   • Bulls Head Public House

    Bulls Head Public House
    Lititz, Penn.

    Fashioned after a traditional British pub, Bulls Head Public House pours 14 rotating beers on tap and two cask conditioned ales. If that's not enough choice, beer lovers have more than 80 bottles to choose from. Each bartender at this Pennsylvania pub is Cicerone Certified.

  • The Avenue Pub

    The Avenue Pub
    New Orleans

    The Avenue Pub's motto is "drink what you love," and that's easy to do at this New Orleans bar celebrating American craft beer. Guests can choose from more than 40 taps (31 rotating) and dozens of bottles. Local breweries, like Abita, Bayou Teche, Lazy Magnolia and NOLA Brewing, are well represented.

  • The Open Bottle

    The Open Bottle
    Tinley Park, Ill.

    Situated in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, The Open Bottle sources craft beers from around the globe. Eight rotating taps and an occasional cask are complemented by a huge selection of bottles that can be enjoyed in the bar or taken home. Midwest breweries are often well represented.

  • Brown Iron Brewhouse

    Brown Iron Brewhouse
    Washington, Mich.

    The Brown Iron Brewhouse, considered one of Michigan's top beer bars, is fashioned after a large German beer hall, but with beer from American craft breweries (alongside their own house-brewed options). Taps rotate daily, and Michigan beers are almost always well-represented.

    Salud Beer Shop

    Opened in 2012 as a bottle shop, Salud Beer Shop in Charlotte's North Davidson neighborhood has grown into a local favorite beer bar, complete with 16 taps and hundreds of bottled craft beers from around the world.

  • The Birch

    The Birch
    Norfolk, Va.

    Housed in a former industrial building in Norfolk, Va., The Birch is clear-minded in its approach to beer. The carefully selected beer list includes 21 beers and five ciders and meads on tap. Periodically throughout the year, to encourage patrons to try something new, The Birch hosts week-long mini festivals during which all the taps and the bottle list adhere to one theme, such as dark, bitter or sour.

  • HopCat

    Grand Rapids, Mich.

    HopCat started in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2008 and has garnered heaps of praise and many awards for its selection of great beer from around the world. Some of the best local, regional and global craft beers are on 49 taps, and more than 250 bottles expands the offerings. It could be their famous beer-battered Crack Fries, but more likely it’s the wide range of beers, passionate bartenders, a fun atmosphere and a year-round patio that make HopCat a top destination for beer aficionados.

    The Crafty Fox Ale House
    San Francisco

    A relative newcomer to the lively San Francisco beer scene, The Crafty Fox Ale House features 36 rotating taps with a heavy focus on California beers. Knowledgable bartenders help narrow down the selection so every customer ends up with the perfect brew.

  • Belmont Station

    Belmont Station
    Portland, Ore.

    Founded in 1997, Belmont Station has become a favorite destination for beer drinkers in Portland, thanks to its two dozen rotating taps and a cask "beer engine" in the Biercafe and 1,400-plus bottles in the adjacent bottle shop. Many draft beers are also available for growlers to go.

    Beer lovers at this Brooklyn beer bar can choose from 16 taps and dozens of different bottles, available to-stay or to-go (there's even a to-go window for filling up growlers).
