Horseshoe Indianapolis offers Hoosiers the only thoroughbred and quarter horse racing in the state, bringing 127 racing days to the heart of the Midwest. It's a favorite spot for summer holiday fun, as races are held on Memorial Day and Independence Day, too. The biggest races held at this track are the Indiana Derby in July and the Indiana Champions Day in October, but with its casino, live musical entertainment and gourmet food, Horseshoe entertains its guests no matter what race day they choose.
