Delano South Beach named Best Hotel Pool by 10Best readers

The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain comes in second place

For many travelers, especially during these hot summer months, the quality of a pool can make or break a hotel experience. A stay at one of these 10 hotels, voted by 10Best readers as having the best hotel pools in the nation, is sure to be a memorable one.

  • Delano South Beach

Separate areas for floating and meditating, underwater music and poolside cabanas that come with a personal butler make the pool at the trendy Delano South Beach feel more like a sophisticated "water salon." This Phillipe Starck-designed adult aquatic playground is at once sophisticated and chic – an institution of the South Beach hotel scene.

  • Sheraton Waikiki Hotel

The Sheraton Waikiki Hotel in Honolulu offers a family-friendly activity pool with all the bells and whistles: a waterslide, two large whirlpools and an interactive fountain area. But the real star at this Hawaiian resort is the heated oceanfront infinity pool – one of the longest in North America – with its stunning views of Waikiki and Diamond Head.

  • Amangiri
    Canyon Point, Utah

Carved around the natural contours of a 80-foot stone bluff and set into a sunken courtyard, the pool at Amangiri in Canyon Point, Utah seems to blend into its surroundings. And because the modernist sandstone hideaway is so remote, nighttime swimmers can stare up at a sky full of stars. King size day beds, sun loungers, a fire pit and a adjacent hot tub make this a pool to enjoy year round.
