Best Hotel Restaurant (2017)

Monkitail debuted in April of 2017 at the Diplomat Beach Resort and is already one of Hollywood, Florida's buzziest new restaurants. Inspired by a Japanese izakaya, the eatery from Chef Michael Schulson features sushi, sake and sharable small plates, including wasabi ceviche, pastrami bao buns, bacon yakisoba and duck shabu shabu.

Located inside the Aria, Michael Mina's Bardot Brasserie takes inspiration from a modern Parisian cafe with a menu highlighting French classic comfort foods, like steak tartare, duck l'orange, and steak frites, alongside a selection of Old and New World wines.

Take a journey into Africa through your taste buds with a blend of tasty seasonal African, Indian Mediterranean and cuisine at Jiko - The Cooking Place. Dishes like oak-grilled filet mignon and brick-oven-fired pizza are a few of the flavorful choices. Sommeliers host weekly South African wine tastings paired with a selection of cheeses on Wednesdays. Note that there is a dress code.

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is home to é by José Andrés, an inventive Spanish restaurant popular for its tasting menu of clever takes on Spanish classics. There are only eight seats and two seatings per night, making it one of the hottest tables in Sin City.

One of Aspen's buzziest restaurants can be found at the St. Regis at the Chefs Club by Food & Wine. Master Sommelier Jonathan Pullis curates a wine list to complement the menu built from dishes and recipes by winners of the prestigious Food & Wine’s Best New Chefs Award.

Divided into six themed rooms such as French and Dutch, the fine dining eatery honors the cultures that settled this part of Wisconsin. The food is more contemporary and ingredient focused, from fresh Maine lobster to Alaskan salmon to Australian lamb, all served in a formal masculine setting with service to match. The wine list is extensive, but house policy dictates that it contains nothing scoring less than 88 points from Wine Spectator.

Chef Jon Cichon calls his cuisine “Progressive International,” but basically he applies classical technique of the finest French and Continental cooking to a culturally broader palate of ingredients, resulting in dishes you won’t find elsewhere, like smoked veal tongue or red king crab with sunflowers, miso, apple and turnip. The creative offerings at Lacroix at The Rittenhouse in Philadelphia pair well with the 4,000 bottle wine cellar, both served with stunning views over Rittenhouse Square.

Mixing very traditional fine French cooking techniques with the bounty of Hawaii’s oceans and farms, La Mer executes delicious and artful food in a tranquil, tropical escapist atmosphere of relaxed glamor. There is ample seating at rose covered tables on the balcony overlooking the Pacific, where the first class cuisine is accompanied by nature’s music, the crashing surf.
