  • Immigrant Restaurant

    Immigrant Restaurant
The American Club - Kohler, Wis.

Divided into six themed rooms such as French and Dutch, the fine dining eatery honors the cultures that settled this part of Wisconsin. The food is more contemporary and ingredient focused, from fresh Maine lobster to Alaskan salmon to Australian lamb, all served in a formal masculine setting with service to match. The wine list is extensive, but house policy dictates that it contains nothing scoring less than 88 points from Wine Spectator.

  • Lacroix

    Lacroix
    The Rittenhouse - Philadelphia

Chef Jon Cichon calls his cuisine “Progressive International,” but basically he applies classical technique of the finest French and Continental cooking to a culturally broader palate of ingredients, resulting in dishes you won’t find elsewhere, like smoked veal tongue or red king crab with sunflowers, miso, apple and turnip. The creative offerings at Lacroix at The Rittenhouse in Philadelphia pair well with the 4,000 bottle wine cellar, both served with stunning views over Rittenhouse Square.

    Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza

Located in the historic Hilton Netherland Plaza Hotel, Orchids at Palm Court is one of the most elegant spaces in Cincinnati. Originally the hotel lobby, Palm Court has a French Art Deco theme with lavish touches, like crystal, French china and genuine silver. • Joël Robuchon

    Joël Robuchon
    MGM Grand - Las Vegas

The most Michelin-star awarded chef in history, Joël Robuchon’s nickname “Chef of the Century” speaks for itself. But while he has restaurants in Paris and all over the world, his fine dining jewel at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, serving four to nine course tasting menus, is his global flagship. His signature is the use of impeccably sourced high quality ingredients served in gorgeous but simple presentations that allow the flavors to shine through. It has been awarded the highest possible 3-Michelin Stars, 5-Forbes Stars and 5-AAA Diamonds.

  • La Mer

    La Mer
    Halekulani - Honolulu

La Mer means the sea, and here it is all about oceanfront dining in the only Forbes 5-Star eatery in the state of Hawaii. Mixing very traditional fine French cooking techniques with the bounty of Hawaii’s oceans and farms, La Mer executes delicious and artful food in a tranquil, tropical escapist atmosphere of relaxed glamor. There is ample seating at rose covered tables on the balcony overlooking the Pacific, where the first class cuisine is accompanied by nature’s music, the crashing surf.
