Anthem in calls itself a “Tex-Asian Pub,” serving fusion gastropub fare to hungry Austinites. Options range from a house-smoked vegan curry dog with Korean kraut to Chinese five spice barbecue brisket served on a sweet Hawaiian bun with braised bacon, sesame slaw, fried onions and kimchi aioli.

The 16-seat restaurant offers the vibe of an intimate dinner party, where the food is served by the owners and chefs, husband and wife team John and Diane MacPherson, in a warm and welcoming environment.

When Wine Bar George opened at Disney Springs at Walt Disney World Resort, it became the first and only Master Sommelier-led wine bar in the state of Florida. Master Sommelier George Miliotes oversees the collection of some 130 wines, poured alongside a menu of small plates and charcuterie.

Guests of the new Gordon Ramsey Hell’s Kitchen restaurant at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas will feel like they’re dining on the set of the hit reality TV show. San Diego got its first omakase sushi restaurant with the opening of Hidden Fish. Diners choose between a 50-minute, 12-piece tasting menu or a 90-minute, 18-piece experience. The finest seafood gets sourced from around the globe, including from Japan’s famous Toyosu Fish Market.

Spice Finch, a new modern Mediterranean eatery in Philadelphia, is the work of Chefs Jennifer Carroll and Billy Riddle. Dishes like stuffed grape leaves with apricot and lemon yogurt, peri peri shrimp, charred carrot hummus and lamb ribs with roasted garlic chermoula are served in an art-deco inspired space.

Chef John Sinclair cooks up creative tavern fare at the new Longway Tavern in New Orleans’ French Quarter. The casual spot, complete with an open-air courtyard, serves dishes like radishes with butter and caviar, shrimp toast on sourdough with tamarind and herbs, fried calamari with blistered grape tomatoes and charred lemon, or hearty bolognese with spaghetti squash and ricotta.

Chef Stephen Gillanders takes inspiration from his travels around the globe when creating the seasonal contemporary American menu at S.K.Y. in Chicago. Dishes might include crispy mahi mahi with sambal butter and broken potatoes, Maine lobster dumplings, Berkshire pork chop with habanero honey sauce and sweet potato or hamachi sashimi with black sesame ponzu and puffed rice.
