    Jacob Astor IV, the founder of the original St. Regis in New York, had a dog named Kitty. The St. Regis Aspen Resort now has their own dog named Kitty, more than a century later. Pets are welcome at the resort, which offers dog sitting and walking services, as well as monthly Pawty on the Patio events to raise money for the Lucky Day Animal Rescue of Colorado.
