It's that time of year again, when ladders come out, lights go up and power bills soar! Across America, people are busy decking the halls - and just about anything else they can hang a light on!
Since I can remember, there was always one night during the holiday season when we would pile in the car and go look at lights. My parents dragged my sisters and me around and now my husband and I do the same with our children, always ending around our own tree with a cup of hot cocoa and Christmas cookies!
There's comfort in the traditions of the season – and looking at the lights is one that everyone can enjoy.
