Foodies will want to sample the platos fuertes, or strong plates, featuring complex, savory entrees like the pollo en mole negro (chicken with mole). The rich mole sauce captures the essence of this traditional Mexican dish, and the wood-grilled chicken helps elevate the plate to another level. Another stand-out menu item is the paella Mexicana, a rustic take on this classic Spanish dish, prepared in a cast iron skillet with a spicy mixture of pork, chicken, chorizo and veggies.
Speaking of veggies, Otro Cafe sources many of its ingredients from Arizona farms, giving the menu a strong focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients. The open kitchen concept and bright, modern decor provide Otro Cafe with a pleasant neighborhood feel. And if you love breakfast, Otro serves breakfast all day in addition to local Lux coffee products. There is also happy hour pricing from 2 pm to 6 pm daily.
