If you suffer from post-weekend blues, The Westin Phoenix Downtown has launched a special new weekend program designed to help you battle the dread of Monday morning. The hotel will be offering guests more flexibility with their weekend reservations including later check-out on Sundays, extended weekend breakfast hours and even a token of appreciation that guests can take home.
Every Friday, the Westin Phoenix Downtown will set the stage for the weekend with a range of subtle sensory cues including softer lighting throughout the hotel, relaxing mood music and special end-of-week decor. Hotel associates will ditch the neckties and working week uniforms in favor of more casual weekend wear.
Weekend guests can check out of the Westin at 3 pm, providing ample time to take a morning stroll around downtown Phoenix or simply enjoy a long leisurely breakfast at Province, the hotel's acclaimed restaurant. Breakfast will be served until 3 pm, which means you can sleep in and still enjoy a full breakfast.
As part of the Westin Weekend program, the restaurant will also be serving a special Tequila Sunrise cocktail on Saturdays and Sundays. The famous drink is rumored to have been created by a Phoenix local. Guests are invited to take home the recipe so that they can recreate their Westin Weekend at home.
