The burgeoning Chandler-Gilbert area has numerous brand new shopping complexes. Gilbert Gateway, like most of them, is being built in phases, but at completion it will have 800,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space in an open air "town center" plan. Currently, the center is home to Super Target, EB Games, Pier 1 Imports, and Ross Dress for Less. There are several fast food options, as well as a couple of full-service restaurants.
