Now, lovers of these colorful winged insects can experience the wonder of butterflies at a new must-see destination: the new Butterfly Wonderland museum in Scottsdale. The facility boasts a 10,000-square-foot atrium that is said to be the largest butterfly pavilion in the United States.

This state-of-the-art facility features a large glass atrium that creates a tropical rainforest habitat for thousands of butterflies from around the world. Butterfly Wonderland also has a state-of-the-art theater that plays a specially edited version of “Flight of the Butterflies" in 3D. The facility also has educational laboratories and interactive exhibits, including "Rivers of the Amazon" aquatic life, an elaborate honeybee exhibit and a live ant colony. There is also a gift shop and a café.
Butterfly Wonderland in Scottsdale represents the first phase in a 35-acre, multi-million dollar entertainment complex that will eventually include an IMAX theatre, the largest aquarium in the southwest region, a Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum, and a "Taste of the World" culinary showcase.
